A serene sanctuary in Dubai, this villa reimagines residential living through the lens of Japanese minimalism. ETCH Group collaborated closely with the client to craft an atmosphere of calm, where every element serves both purpose and peace. The original villa lacked flow and visual tranquillity. Standard interior treatments felt cluttered and disconnected from the client's desire for mindful, uncluttered spaces. They sought a home that would feel like a daily retreat—something conventional design could not deliver. The goal: transform the residence into a harmonious expression of Japanese interior design principles.

Our unified team stripped back the existing layout to reveal clean lines and natural light. We introduced sliding shoji screens, custom tatami platforms, and a muted material palette to establish authenticity. Every intervention, from joinery to lighting, was intentional and collaborative.
